It’s really a misnomer for me - visiting Death Valley in March was so incredibly uplifting and amazingly spiritual – I came away from my week visiting the National Park with a truly natural high. The drive in from Santa Cruz afforded me an opportunity to experience the wonders of the Panamint Mountain range, even before I entered the park. And then the icing on the cake was the 5 days visiting the sites in the park. The highlight was the sunset hour at Zabriskie Point – a truly magical experience where I had to put down my camera to take in the wonders of mother nature.
